The Defense Solutions Group is currently pursuing the USSOCOM Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contracts (SITEC) and has openings for VTC Technicians located at Camp Smith in Hawaii.
Job Description:
Provides full lifecycle support for all USSOCOM Video communications network services, including the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and management of designated video network distribution systems and associated equipment, both garrison and deployed, for all levels of security classification. This includes, but is not limited to, networks supporting both single point-to-point video telecommunications (VTC), all video distribution Multi-Point Control Units (MCUs). Provides support for all stationary VTC infrastructure equipment and software extending out to the LAN wall jack. Also provides support for deployable VTC systems. Ensures a seamless connection between all internal and external systems to include, but not limited to, DISN Video Services - Global (DVS-G), NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS. The individual will be responsible for scheduling, and troubleshooting VTC bridge calls, which includes providing technical support to maintain, monitor, operate and/or sustain the Videoconferencing infrastructure.
Experience/Educational Requirement:
2+ years of related experience.
Associate’s degree or 3+ years of additional related experience.
Clearance Requirement:
Must currently possess an active Top Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI.
