Job Description:
The successful candidate will perform as a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO) providing full scope support to a Government Program Security Officer in support of ESC at Hanscom AFB in Massachusetts and the MPSC in Eglin AFB Florida. The successful candidate will support a government customer in addressing Special Access Program (SAP) security related requirements across all the security disciplines including Communications (COMSEC) physical, information, personnel, and operations security. The candidate must be thoroughly familiar with DCID 6/3, 6/4, 6/9, JAFAN series of instructions, in particular JFAN 6/3, DoD, and National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) Overprint/ requirements as supplemented for handling Special Intelligence and Special Access Program material. Core functions will include but not be limited to: - Obtain and maintain COMSEC equipment required for SIPRNET access as well as radios needed for interoperability and IBS certification testing. Serve as SIPRNET Point of Contact for Systems Engineering Integration Contract (SEIC). Interact with multiple Program Security Officers and work Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF-s) issues. Establish and maintain COMSEC sub-account, order equipment through local channels and coordinate with HQ AFMC, Randolph and HQ USAF. Write, edit, and maintain security plans, operating instructions and procedures for Mission Planning. Submit requests through Eglin and AF channels prior to ordering and maintaining COMSEC equipment. Conduct Self inspections and reviewing core security processes for AF compliance. Manage access control and security for briefings and meetings. Develop and execute SAP briefings supporting movement of SAP Material, Test and Evaluation exercises and staff interactions of the agency. Handle all incoming and outgoing classified correspondence, Certificates of Destruction (CD-s), update and maintain logs and records associated with security. Document Control processing and life cycle management. Submit Personal Access Requests (PARs) and maintain the administrative security functions. Draft/Monitor Co-Utilization Agreements as required. Assist the Program Security Office with actions surrounding the Security of the assigned program. Travel within the United States may be required. Be able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in computer science or information technology is required. Absent a degree, five years experience as an FSO may be substituted. The extent that directly related experience will be considered for equivalency will be evaluated per the contract by the Government Program Security Office.
Required Skills:
To be considered, applicants must possess a Top Secret clearance. Candidate must have a minimum seven years experience with implementation of Program Security Requirements as identified in the NISPOM and NISPOM Overprint. Candidate must possess the ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken communications. Candidate must - show initiative in defining and correcting issues affecting program security, be able to work well in a mixed military, government Civilian and Contractor environment, and have the ability to use standard office automation applications and databases.
